One day...

One day, a friend of mine gave me a little bunny as a gift.  It was love at first sight…you may think they are all the same, but, look closely and you will see that they each have their own little personality.  After a while, I couldn’t help but feel that my bunny was lonely and could do with another bunny to make friends with.  So, this led to a long search across Europe to the Head of the bunny empire to see if I could arrange another bunny passport so a new bunny could travel first class and come to live with me and my original bunny. Well, you can guess what happened next…..lots of other bunnies heard about my bunny sanctuary and soon we had a houseful (much to the bemusement of my husband!).

These rabbits live in a wonderful lair behind a tiny hill-top.  There are sisters and brothers, nephews, cousins and a whole family.  Every morning they wake up the sun, before it rises, and in the evening they eat star-sprinkles with warm milk using a silver spoon.

OOOH LA LA

Laurent and Fifi La Mer live in France near St. Malo in a splendid house called ‘Chateau Lapin’. The chateau belonged to Laurent’s grandfather, Jean-Paul La Mer and Laurent inherited the beautiful old house in 2002. With such a beautiful mansion it had been easy to attract the eye of many a pretty bunny but they all paled into significance when he met Fifi, Laurent knew immediately that she was ‘the one’. Fifi was the daughter of Count Philippe de Crepe who was very wealthy having made his fortune by owning a string of restaurants. The Count and Countess lived close to Laurent in a huge manor house surrounded by a moat called ‘Chateau Legumes’ where Fifi, their only child had every luxury money could buy.
